Wednesday is my Barron Day!
It is our mission to support our students and staff in their use of information and technology for teaching, learning, creating, and personal growth. We strive to continuously develop a print and digital collection in a wide range of genres and resources that support the Salem School District curriculum as well as encourage a lifelong love of reading.
Mrs. Mack will be visiting classes with her book mobile once a week. Students may choose a book to borrow from the book mobile, request books with grade level order forms, and older students will learn how to put books on hold through the library catalog. Returned books will be collected from the classrooms every Tuesday and quarantined for 72 hours before returning to the library shelves or being checked out again. Students may also return their book on their regular library day. Books can be checked out for up to 2 weeks, and may be renewed if no one has the book on hold.
Monday: Tager, Ducharme, Bellistri, McGlynn
Tuesday: Brown, Rasco
Wednesday: Boivin, DeRosa, Rigby, Jannino
Thursday: Delaney, Oljey, DiChiara, Wetherington, Welch, Kiley
Friday: Boyce, O'Rourke
You can see what books we have in the library by visiting the library catalog. Log in with your school Google account to put books on hold or to see what books you already have checked out. Watch this video tutorial to learn how.
If you are in a remote classroom, you can order books from your school library, and then pick them up inside of the school's front door. Directions can be found HERE.
Look for SALEM SCHOOL DISTRICT when logging in.
