Please complete the following musical activities on your music day! If you have any questions please feel free to me.
How would you like to make your own instruments? It's not hard.....just look around your home for things you can recycle to make your instrument.
Here are some examples of items in my home:
Wood, Boxes - (Amazon boxes, cereal and tissue boxes), Elastic Bands, Metal Cans Of All Sizes, Paper Plates And Bowls, Easter Egg Containers, Popsicle Sticks, Straws, Fillers (Rocks, Pasta, Rice), String and Yarn, Tree Branches, Plastic Containers, Yogurt Containers, Egg Cartons
Here are some instrument ideas:
Guitars, Finger Pianos, Maracas-Shakers, Rain Sticks, Chimes
See below for more ideas!
When you have made your instrument, please take a picture of YOU WITH YOUR INSTRUMENT and send it to your music teacher.
HAVE FUN!

This is a central link to a website for parents and students to watch instrument demos, learn about instrument rentals, and a google form for students to express their interest in playing an instrument next year! I encourage students to fill out the form, in addition to watching the instrument videos, so the teachers can contact you!
HAPPY SUMMER,
