Nicole Boscketti's Classroom: About third

Welcome to our third grade!

Reading and writing- Our sessions begin with a short focused mini lesson on the  reading or writing task. Students then learn to work independently on a variety of  activities, and practices  while being provided instruction that focuses on each child's needs.

Eureka Math -Each lesson provides plenty of opportunities to solve problems and practice skills in concrete ways along with fluency practice built in to the program, and exit tickets for sharing the strategies used to solve mathematical problems in class.

Word study- We use specifically designed lessons within class for teaching word study via whole-group instruction and small-group application that help students attend to, learn about, and efficiently use sounds, letters, and words.

Please do not hesitate to contact me  with any questions or concerns.  You can reach me by email. I will  also use the REMIND app for class announcements.

The goal of homework is to reinforce concepts learned at school by providing independent practice at home. Students will have one homework assignment nightly M-TH.

what to bring daily

Snack, lunch, & Water Bottles:  Please send a healthy snack and water bottle to school. Send in home lunch (if not purchasing school lunch)
