Welcome to Third Grade! I'm looking forward to a fun and exciting year filled with lots of learning! Always feel free to email me with any questions. 

We’re better when working together. In third grade we promise to be Lancaster STARs. We will show kindness by using our manners and including others. We will take responsibility by making positive choices and working hard to learn. We will act safely by using materials appropriately and keeping our bodies in control. We promise to respect everyone by showing patience and understanding. We promise to be present and give each day our very best.

A Typical Day

8:45-9:25- Morning Routine & Morning Meeting

9:25-10:25- Math Workshop

10:25-10:40- Snack 

10:40-11:20- Special

11:20-12:05- Recess/Lunch

12:05- 12:35- Team Time

12:35-1:20- Reader's Workshop

1:20-2:05- Writer's Workshop

2:05-2:25- Word Study

2:25-2:45- Content

2:45- 3:00- Pack up & Dismissal 

Monday: Library

Tuesday: Guidance (Every other week)

Wednesday: Music

Thursday: PE (Don't forget your sneakers!)

Friday: Art
