Line and Shape

 

Students will practice drawing shapes: triangles, circles, squares, ovals, rectangles, hearts. 

On the other side of the paper students can draw several shapes of their choice and color them in.

2. Students can draw several lines around each shape. The lines that were used to create each shape: vertical and horizontal to create a rectangle, four equal lines around a square shape to form a square and continue until all shapes have at least four lines around them...

3.Color in the background with rainbow colors.

4 .Students may continue drawing shapes on another sheet of paper and create shape creatures joining several shapes together and drawing details such as eyes, noses, mouth, arms,  and legs.
