K - 2 Activities

Now that we have learned about du and du-de, lets see if we can read these rhythms using them!

3 - 5 Activities

In music, we have notes, which are symbols used for musical sounds. To know how high or low a note is, we place them on the musical staff.

A staff is a set of five lines and four spaces on which notes are written to indicate pitch. The lower the note is on the lines and spaces, the lower the pitch would be. The higher the note is, the higher the sound.

Watch the videos below to learn how these notes came to be, and what we call them!

Practice the notes on the lines and spaces using the following game!
