Readers Workshop: Session #1 Tackling More Challenging Books

Today students will study books to think about how they are getting bigger and harder. They will review their reading super powers and remember to use all of their powers to support their reading. Then, they will make a reading plan, stacking them in order from easiest to hardest and then reading down their stack. If students are reading digitally, they might make a plan of a few books they’ll read and the order they’ll read them in.
