 Writer's Workshop: Unit 3 Session 10 How-to book writers picture each step and then choose exactly right words. Objective: When you want to write how to steps that a reader can easily follow, it is really important to remember yourself doing something and to picture it, almost like you're watching video in slow motion, pausing often to say, "What exact words describe what I just did?" Word Study Unit 3 Session 9: Mix and Make When you have word part power, you try putting letters and parts of words together, even without knowing if they will make a word. You explore to see what new words you can make.     Extension: Book Making—Decodable Text (-at, -in, -it, -an) Gendron –PE Murphy – Art Scenna - Library Eureka Math: Module 4 Lesson 6 Objective: Children will represent number bonds with composition and decomposition story situations     Application Problem & Problem Set Read Aloud Listen to one of Mrs. Gendron's Read Alouds, or ask someone at home to read to you Don't forget to take brain breaks and have some quiet time!

REMOTE LEARNING DAY: PLEASE COMPLETE THE LESSONS BELOW. PLEASE REMEMBER THESE WON'T BE LIVE LESSONS WITH YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER BUT THERE WILL BE ZOOM CHECK INS THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

Objective: Children will learn that even after they think they have solved words, their reading work is not finished. They will learn to monitor for meaning, structure and visual information. (Does it sound right? Look right? Does it make sense?)

Objective:   Module 4 lesson 7 .Objective: Children will model decompositions of 6 using a story situation, objects, and number bonds.
