Daily Lessons

Writer's Workshop: Unit 5 Session 1 Words are like magic wands. Just as magicians use magic wands to make things happen, writers use words. If you are going to make the world a better place, first you need to ask "Where is there a problem? After thinking of the problem, you think of a way to solve it. Then you write to make things better."

Word Study:  Unit 4 Session 3  Isolating the Short vowel Sound in the Middle of words(-vc)Objective: Children will learn that they can strengthen their vowel power by segmenting the phonemes in words and noticing the difference in the sounds of the vowels.
