BE KIND BE BRAVE BE YOU
Welcome to Kindergarten
Hello, my Kindergarten Friends! I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I hope you all had a fantastic summer and are ready for this year's learning adventure. We are going to have lots of fun learning and growing together. I can't wait to see how much smarter you are going to get each and every day! Let's make it a great year by being kind, being brave and being our special selves!
Our Kindergarten Day
Our kindergarten students will begin their day on the kindergarten playground. If you are dropping your child off in the morning, please enter the 3rd entrance on your left where you will see the kindergarten playground. Drop off begins at 8:30. One of our kindergarten support staff members will be there to greet you and your child. If your child is taking the bus, they will be dropped off near the kindergarten parking lot and a kindergarten support staff member will direct them to the kindergarten playground. If you are dropping off in the morning it would be really helpful to have your child arrive by 8:45. This will allow time to unpack and ease into the start of our busy school day which begins at 9:00.

This is my 3rd year teaching and 1st year teaching at Barron Elementary School!
I am a Salem Alum and am so excited to be teaching in the district that taught me so much. I have a true passion for education and working with our future. In 2019, I graduated from Plymouth State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I was also a 4 year member of the Plymouth State Women's volleyball team. When I am not teaching, I love being outdoors. I spend a lot of time relaxing at the lake or beach in the summer and skiing in the winter. I have a love for reading that I am excited to instill in my students!
