SPRING Sports Registration
Reminder - ONLY the parent/guardian can register. students should enter on FamilyID for any season.
If you've registered on FamilyID in the past, you do NOT have to re-enter all the data. After you've logged in under SPRINGr 2020-21, scroll down to the drop-down under "participant" and find your childs name. Update any data that may have changed from previous seasons (ie medical, emergency # etc etc).
In order to play sports, all of the following steps need to be completed the 1st day of tryouts/practice:
To help minimize Covid19, Salem High School currently does allow any visiting fans at any athletic event. Home fans will receive tickets from their athlete to attend their home games only*. Masks are required at all times.
*Like Fall/Winter, some of our offsite venues may also have limits/no home fans allowed. Please see list below.
As we did in the Fall, the Winter D1 schools will try to provide as many live links for Home/Away games as possible. Links will be posted below each week as they are made available.
Also ALWAYS check with the shs athletic facebook page even if it's not listed below - (this is new to us and sometimes we will have a camera set up and sometimes we only have an ipad so it may not always be a perfect view due to the setup). While in facebook, search @SSDAthletics and the event will show once game time starts.. If you don't have a facebook account, CLICK HERE to watch . Also, go to the visiting schools athletic page as they may post a link that we couldn't post here as we've left for the day and they didn't have the link set up until just before the game starts.
**You may need to click on the links below just before the games start as they do not go LIVE until the game starts.
***Some of the fields(softball/baseball) are slightly out of wifi range so we are waiting on additional equipment so that we can film live.

**NOTE- currently, lockers are not being used to try an cut down on touching surfaces/covid. Items can be placed inside the locker rooms in front of lockers/on locker islands/benches each morning. Reminder that ALL items need to be removed at end of day and taken with you to practice/games.
When lockers can be used again....ALL ATHLETES SHOULD HAVE LOCKS ON THEIR LOCKERS. Many groups, teams, visitors, rentals etc use the school and you are responsible for returning/reimbursing your uniforms and equipment. Do you need a lock? Stop by the athletic office and you can rent one for the season for $3. Once your season has ended and you've cleaned out your locker, return the lock and we give you the $3 rental fee back.
