Students will be reading the book If I Lived in a Covered Wagon. While they are reading they will be taking notes on the most important details of traveling west in a covered wagon. Then, they will organize their sticky notes into categories. From their students will be drafting a research paper, using their sticky notes as a guide. Finally after many mini-lessons the students will complete a final research paper on traveling west in a covered wagon. Ask your son/daughter to share the process with you!
