Welcome to Team 19! For those of you who don't me, this is my 16th year teaching in Salem. Prior to coming to Lancaster in 2015, I taught 5th grade for eleven years at North Salem. Before that, I taught for ten years in Massachusetts, where I taught Kindergarten, third grade, sixth grade, and Special Education. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Merrimack College and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Lesley University.
I live in Salem with my husband and two children. My husband teaches in the Business Department at Salem High School, where he is also the Varsity Basketball coach. My son, Matt is a junior at Endicott College and my daughter, Caitlin, will be a senior at Landmark High School. We also run the Blue Devil Basketball Camp every summer - maybe you've been a camper!
When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Some of my hobbies include reading, running, cooking, volunteering, and going to the beach. I also work part-time for Boston Children's Hospital where I travel throughout New England to meet many of the wonderful people and businesses that support the hospital. I love meeting new people and sharing my positive experiences with Boston Children's Hospital, with those I meet.
I am looking forward to a fun and productive year with my new fourth graders and their families!
