I was born and raised in Mystic, Connecticut. At Keene State College, I earned my bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in elementary education. This year is my 14th year teaching 6th grade language arts at Woodbury School. I have a passion for teaching structure and writing, and I enjoy writing short stories to share with my students – see www.millasshorts.com. Reading is one of my favorite things to do EVER, and I have read hundreds of middle-school aged books – see www.millasbookrecommendations.blogspot.com. Currently, I live in Goffstown, NH, with my wife and two young daughters – aside from spending time with them, teaching is my absolute favorite thing to do. But, I also do love Boston sports, golf, playing the guitar, listening to music, and playing a video game or two as well.
