Before you begin to research your topic, create a project folder. Just like a physical folder, this allows you to store all of your sources in one place.

Make sure you are logged into NT prior to exporting!
Most books have been given a unique number called an ISBN. Typically you can find an ISBN on the back of the book at the bottom of the cover (if not look at the copyright page). It can either be a ten digit or thirteen digit number and both are fine to try. Screenshot Tips

If the database does not provide you with an export to NT feature you can copy and paste the citation as demonstrated in this video.
Utilize the export to Google docs feature to make sure your Works Cited page meets MLA formatting guidelines.
