Allison Plante, Director

Welcome to Salem Preschool!

I am thrilled to welcome you to the Salem Preschool Program. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and working together to support your preschooler at the very start of their educational journey through the Salem School District. I believe that an important resource to any child is the love and care of their family and the community. Communication with parents is vital and I ask you to reach out to me with any questions or concerns that you may have throughout the year.

Our highly trained preschool staff are the backbone of our program. They provide a caring and nurturing environment while teaching the foundational skills that each child needs to become a successful, life-long learner. The staff is committed to reach each child, every day.

Lisa Manzo, Teacher

This will be my second year as a teacher at Salem Preschool and my fourth year as a Pre-K teacher.  Prior to teaching, I was providing behavioral interventions for kiddos with intensive needs. I absolutely love working in early education and teaching the whole student, not only pre-academics but also how to be a learner!

Nicole Messina, Teacher

This is my fourth year teaching in Salem in the preschool program and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I grew up in Salem, NH, attended Barron School, and graduated from Salem High School. I have also taught an intensive special needs classroom, title I, and social skills program for kindergarten students. I love being able to work with children at the preschool level and help create a foundation of love for school and learning.

Susan Marquis, Teacher

This will be my 31st year as a preschool teacher working within the Salem School District and I am honored to be part of such a wonderful school system!  I have been lucky to work with excellent colleagues throughout my career.  I am very excited about the expansion of our preschool program.

I am looking forward to the 2020-21 school year to be a time of fun and exploration, as we learn and grow together.
