About the Scramble
Don't miss your opportunity to participate in this year's event to be held Saturday, Oct. 5 at Salem High School fields.
Only 500 spots available in various time slots, so register early to lock in your preferred heat and avoid missing out. Open to all Salem students in grades 1-8 and heats run from 9:30 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.
The $20 registration fee includes a Scramble t-shirt, swag bag, and race medal. More than 20 community vendors and organizations will offer free demos, giveaways, and family-friendly activities at the event.
This is a rain or shine event. Space is limited so there are no refunds or changes to time slots after registration.
Heats/Schedule
Spots fill up quickly as heats are segmented by grade level and have limited spots. Here is the breakdown of start times available by grade:
Grades 6-8
- Heat 1 -- 9:30 a.m.
- Heat 2 -- 9:45 a.m.
- heat 3 -- 10:00 a.m.
Grades 3-5
- Heat 4 -- 10:10 a.m.
- Heat 5 -- 10:20 a.m.
- Heat 6 -- 10:30 a.m.
- Heat 7 -- 10:40 a.m.
- Heat 8 -- 10:50 a.m.
- Heat 9 -- 11:00 a.m.
- Heat 10 -- 11:10 a.m.
- Heat 11 -- 11:20 a.m.
- Heat 12 -- 11:30 a.m.
- Heat 13 -- 11:40 a.m.
Grades 1-2
- Heat 14 -- 11:50 a.m.
- Heat 15 -- 12:00 a.m.
- Heat 16 -- 12:10 a.m.
