SENIOR PARENT NIGHT: September 22, 2021, 6 PM @ Salem High School in the Performing Arts Center. This presentation by the SHS School Counseling Department will provide information to seniors and their parents about post-secondary options, the college search and application process, and a preview of financial aid.
PSAT: October 13, 2021, will take place during the school day for all sophomores (class of 2024). This exam will be free to all sophomores, but juniors (class of 2023) will be able to sign up and pay a $20 fee to take the PSAT if they choose. Registration will begin on 9/15 in the School Counseling office. Parents can also register their juniors on the night of Open House 9/15 in the PAC lobby.
SHS COLLEGE FAIR: October 13, 2021, 6 PM @Salem High School in the Davis Gym. Students and their parents will be able to talk with 50+ representatives from colleges, universities and other post-secondary options.
FINANCIAL AID NIGHT: October 27, 2021, 6 - 8 PM, Virtual presentation (zoom link will be posted here when available). This presentation by the NH Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) will feature information about the different types of financial aid available for college, filling out the FAFSA and understanding the costs of college.
Schedules for the 2021-2022 school year will be available on the Infinite Campus Student Portal on Monday, August 9th.

PLEASE NOTE: Requests to make schedule changes that do not fall within the above criteria may not be possible. All requests must be submitted by Thursday, September 9th. Upon returning to their offices, counselors will prioritize reviewing requests for schedule changes that have been submitted via the links below versus those submitted through email or phone message. As a reminder, all students in grades 9-11 are expected to carry a course load of 8 total credits or 7 credits and a Humanities or Math/Science Lab. Seniors in good standing may carry 7 total credits and either a Lab or Free Block (if approved).
