Summer Enrichment Program: Exploring Nature Through

Exploring Nature Through the Microscope

For students entering grades 6-11

Course Description

Have you ever wondered what microscopic worlds exist in nature that are just too small to see with our eyes alone? In this course, we will collect living and non-living samples in the ecosystem surrounding the school and apply new microscope skills to view nature's hidden world. Topics explored will include ecology, wetlands, microscopy, oil immersion, microbiology, bacteriology, and many more! Join us to see the unseen! Wear sneakers or shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, and bring sunscreen and a water bottle.
