Summer Enrichment Program: Tinkercad Engineering

Header

Tinkercad Engineering

For students completing grades 4-8 in June 2024

Course Description

Software, firmware, and hardware engineers all share a similar design process, it's their building tools that are special. Tools used by firmware and electrical engineers are generally expensive.  But using Tinkercad's online versions of microcontrollers like Arduino and micro:bit, we can build products and learn the basics of circuitry and breadboard wiring. By the end of the class, students will have a good understanding of the electrical engineering design process, designing circuits, coding in C++, component integration, and problem-solving. Tinkercad IDs will be created for each student. Bring your computer to class.
