Woodbury Connections

Connections is a day-long retreat for seventh grade students, parents, and teachers, held at Northern Essex Community College (NECC) in Haverhill, MA addressing the social and emotional challenges facing today’s families.  The event offers a variety of workshops focusing on strengthening relationships, enhancing communication skills, building self-esteem, and promoting health and awareness. 

                                           ALL GRADE 7 STUDENTS ATTEND CONNECTIONS.

All participants must choose two workshops. Please select from the tabs above to see what workshops are available.  For parents, you can choose any combination of student-parent or parent-only workshops, and for students, you can choose any combination of  parent-student or student-only workshops.

Students and Parents:  Have you ever wondered how safe you are online? Are the photos you post, information you share and status updates you write really protected by those privacy features?  What’s the big deal with posting information online anyway? Come find out the inherent risks of using social networking sites such as Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Discover how a small piece of information discovered online could radically change your life and reveal much more then you ever thought possible and learn tips to protect yourself!

Dr. Frank has spoken to many audiences in the state of New Hampshire, New England, and the Eastern Seaboard on the topic of internet safety. She serves as a school resource officer in Vermont.
