Our Elementary Music staff is a dynamic group of individuals with years of experience in teaching music to young learners. In our elementary music classes, students learn the building blocks of music, giving them the foundation for a musical education that will continue beyond their elementary school experience.
Students engage in music class in activities and lessons grounded in the National Core Arts Standards and in the NH Model Arts Competencies. Teachers utilize singing, classroom instruments, and critical listening to instruct students. Classroom activities could include:
Bucket drumming
Recorder
Xylophone and mallet instruments
Singing songs and rounds
Composing music using web-based technology
and more!
